FAQ
How do I create a free QR code?
Simply select your content type (URL, text, vCard, WiFi, or email), fill in the details, and click "Generate QR Code". Your QR code appears instantly. Download as PNG or SVG — completely free.
Can I add my logo to the QR code?
Yes! Upload any image (PNG, JPG, SVG) in the Style panel. QRForge Ultra overlays it in the center. We recommend setting Error Correction to "H" (30%) when using a logo to ensure scanability.
What's the difference between PNG and SVG?
PNG is a raster image — ideal for digital use, social media, and standard printing. SVG is vector-based and scales infinitely without quality loss, perfect for large-format printing or professional design work.
What does Error Correction Level mean?
Error correction lets QR codes be scanned even when partially damaged or obscured. L=7% recovery, M=15%, Q=25%, H=30%. Use H when adding a logo overlay. Higher levels also produce slightly denser, larger QR codes.
Are my QR codes permanent and dynamic?
QR codes generated here are static — the data is encoded directly into the pattern. They work forever with no server dependency. For dynamic QR codes (editable after creation), you'd need a redirect service.
How do I create a WiFi QR code?
Click the "Wi-Fi" tab, enter your network name (SSID), password, and security type (WPA3 is most common). Generate and scan — smartphones will offer to join the network automatically on iOS 11+ and Android 10+.
